CHOICES.

I have been sitting here most of my day thinking about all of the woulda, coulda, shouldas that are laying in the sun, thinking about all the things they woulda coulda shoulda done. I remember the one little did. I believe that was the important part of Shel Silverstein's poem. I am curious though, what if we only did what WE really want to do? I know that may seem like a silly question to some.  I am often someone peer pressured into things. I will tend to go with the fun thing or the one that sounds more appealing in the moment. Sometimes it is not always the thing I really wanted to do. I have an example.

I chose one night to go out dancing with a really good friend. We had SO much FUN!! It truly was a good time! One for the story books for sure! However, that same night we had been invited to go out on the town with a mutual friend for her bachelorette party. I have been regretting not going out with all of the girls- I know I had a great night!

Could it have been better??

Later I found out that there were girls I hadn't seen in a very long time that came out to visit for the bachelorette party. If I had gone with what I had originally wanted I would have been able to see them before they left town. Lesson?
